Dental Hygienist
Gayle, wife of Dr. Shepard, received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Northeast Louisiana University and has been a practicing hygienist for over 37 years.
Jenny
Dental Hygienist
Jenny graduated from West Monroe High School in 2001. She then attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005. She has been a local practicing hygienist with Dr. Shepard for 13 years. Jenny and her husband live in Calhoun. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and doing outdoor activities. Jenny has a friendly and up beat personality and will always welcome you with a big smile. She keeps up with the most updated preventive care by attending continuing education classes throughout the year. Her main goal is to provide you with comfortable and professional dental check-ups in a family oriented environment.
LaShay
Dental Assistant
LaShay currently works chairside, as lead assistant, while also doubling as our lab technician. She has worked in the dental field alongside Dr. Shepard for 5 ½ years. LaShay graduated from West Ouachita High School in 2001; received her Bachelor’s degree from LA Tech University in 2007; and earned her Extended Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) Certification in 2016. She lives in West Monroe with her husband and their daughter. As a family, they enjoy traveling, playing cards and board games, and watching LSU football and gymnastics. LaShay loves spending time with family and friends and cheering on her favorite gymnast, her daughter, Kinley.
Tonia
Office Manager
Tonia has been a part of Dr. Shepard's team for over 18 years. She helps the office with scheduling and medicaid from her home. Tonia lives in Calhoun with her husband and two boys. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends
